The 49ers are dealing with another injury to a key player as they gear up for the regular season.
Veteran receiver Mike Evans is not practicing on Tuesday with a groin injury, San Francisco announced.
Evans exited last Tuesday’s practice early with what the team termed “tightness.” He then exited early again on Sunday.
He missed time earlier in camp with a quad strain.
It’s worth noting that, via multiple reporters, Evans is working on a side field with teammates like receiver Christian Kirk and fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
But edge rusher Nick Bosa was not among the players on the side field.
